On March 5, the Royal District Theater invites IDP children to the free theatrical performance. 30 children from Upper Abkhazia will have an opportunity to attend a play - “Nugzar & Mephistopheles” directed by Giorgi Tavadze and written by Lasha Bugadze.

On March 1, 2011, Skype conference between the students of Abkhazia Public School #11 (Zugdidi) and Longbenton Community College of Newcastle has been organized. Lucas Henry is a native English language teacher in Abkhazia Public School #11. The Skype conference has been organized within the framework of the Program “Teach and Learn with Georgia” – the initiative of the MoES that aims at improving English language competence among the school children throughout the Georgia.

Tomorrow, on February 24, the 2nd stage of the intellectual game “What? Where? When?” will be held at 15:00 PM in the following cities: Tbilisi, Zugdidi, Senaki and Kutaisi. The game will be organized in Skype and will engage pupils of Public Schools of A/R of Abkhazia, children living in IDP settlements and children from Upper Abkhazia.

The 2nd round of the National School Olympiad is over. 212 high school students of Abkhazia Public Schools and 52 school children living in the occupied territories of Abkhazia have participated in the competition (total: 300 school children). 15 IDP children have successfully moved to the 3rd round of the Olympiad. The 3rd round of the National School Olympiad will be held in March, 2011.
