On July 25, at 11:30 AM, the Chairman of the Government of Abkhazia, Giorgi Baramia and the Minister of Education and Culture of A/R of Abkhazia, Dali Khomeriki will host the golden and silver medal holders from the occupied region of Abkhazia.

The Chairman  will personally award  the students honored with golden and silver medals and  will see  them off  for 2 days tour  to  Kakheti region (25-26 july, Tbilisi-ShuamTa –Ikalto-Alaverdi-Telavi-Tsinandali-Tbilisi). The event is organized by The Ministry of Education and Culture of the Government of A/R of Abkhazia with the framework of the project: “Get to know your motherland for peaceful future.”  The goal of the tour is to support IDP schoolchildren from the occupied region of Abkhazia.

For the academic year 2011, Abkhazia public schools have about 700 school graduates, including 309 schoolchildren from the occupied region of Gali.
